Hillcrest Hope Anniversary
We have once again reached our anniversary at Hillcrest Hope and take the time to reflect on all the incredible ways we have been blessed in this year. As we look back on another year, we are in awe of all the transformation that’s happened at Hillcrest Hope.
“2016 was an incredible year for Hillcrest Hope! The families in our program made great strides in improving their lives through their own hard work and the support of the staff and volunteers,” shared Laurie Sutton, Hillcrest Hope executive director. “We also saw an amazing increase in the amount of support provided to our families and our organization. We are blessed to be a part of the Clay County community!”
Our graduates, our families, our staff and our community have much to celebrate! Let us count the ways.
$129,247.67: Amount Hillcrest Hope families saved in 2016, thanks to the careful budgeting support of volunteers and the chance for some families to save a bit longer in our Graduate Housing apartments.
30,000+: Volunteer hours generously contributed at Hillcrest Hope, both in our apartments and at our Thrift Store.
87: Families adopted for Christmas – we topped last holiday as our biggest Christmas yet!
$11,430.62: Amount, in vouchers, of clothing, furniture, linens, household goods, and more provided to families and graduates of our program through our Hillcrest Hope Thrift Store.
5: Parents reunited with their children this year, both a rare and difficult accomplishment of which we are honored to play a part.
Thank you for being part of our Hillcrest Hope community. Check out our blog for even more reasons to celebrate!
